SUMMARY:Long Lane Christmas Lights BIG Switch On!
DESCRIPTION:We are lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from Terry Ramplin’s wonderful Christmas lights display on Long Lane this year. \nThis is the 20th year that Terry has decorated his house for the enjoyment of the public\, and is a favourite stop on the Southern Vectis Christmas Lights Tour. Terry has raised over £30\,000 for charity over the last 19 festive seasons. \n“This year’s switch on will have the Vectis Corps of Drums Marching Band playing\, and we’ll be offering mulled wine\, hot chocolate\, minced pies and sausage rolls for those who come along.” said Terry \n  \nThe big switch on will take place on Saturday 30th November at 6pm.  \nThis is free to attend\, with donations appreciated for The Wight Brainy Bunch and John’s Club.

DESCRIPTION:We have been asked many times if we will ever repeat Humour4Tumours .. and now we can finally say YES! \nJoin us on the 30th November at Shanklin Theatre\, as we bring you Nina Conti and welcome back Sean Collins for an amazing night of comedy! \nNina has won a British Comedy Award\, stormed Live at the Apollo\, Russell Howard’s Good News\, Sunday Night at the Palladium\, and made a BAFTA nominated film – all without even moving her lips\, and we are delighted to be bringing her to the Isle of Wight for our charity comedy night. \nCanadian Sean Collins has 25 years experience in stand up comedy\, with initial success leading to ‘Best Male Stand Up’ nominations at the Canadian Comedy Awards\, a Just For Laughs Gala set at Montreal and his own hour long special on Canadian television.
