The Great South Run may not be going ahead on the 18th October, but the organisers have launched the GreatSouthRunSolo 

It’s a virtual running challenge to help you stay motivated, continue to fundraise for charity, and to put those training miles to use 

Starting on the 1st September, the challenge is to complete 25 runs (or more) over 48 days. The challenge will finish on 18th October – the day the Great South Run was due to take place!

It costs £10 to join, and everyone who completes the challenge will receive a special edition Great South Run Solo medal

So if you were planning to run the Great South Run in a Wight Brainy Bunch vest this year, you don’t need to miss out!
