ABP Southampton Marathon
Huge congratulations to Ross Holme for completing his first Half Marathon in just 1hr 26mins, at ABP Southampton Marathon on Sunday 24th April, coming in as 34th Finisher and 1st Island runner!
Speaking about the race, Ross said; “As a Saints fan, I’ve always wanted to run through St Mary’s Stadium, and today I got to do that, and achieve positions I didn’t expect to”
Still just 17 yrs old, Ross has been running for approximately 4 years with the Wootton Bridge Runners and was part of our WBB team at last years Great South Run, which he completed in 1hr 8mins …. so we were delighted that he should choose to wear our WBB vest again today and represent our little charity at this fantastic event.
