Deb’s IOW Ultra Challenge

On the 3rd May Deb and Eloise Radestock are taking on the Isle of Wight 50km Ultra Challenge in aid of The Wight Brainy Bunch.

Having already completed 5 marathons and multiple half marathons between them, they decided to take on this latest challenge and fundraise for our charity as Debs older brother passed away from an aggressive Glioblastoma brain tumour.

This challenge has now become even more personal to Deb, as in November 2024 an abnormality showed up on an MRI and she herself has subsequently been diagnosed with a Meningioma brain tumour and is currently awaiting a date for a craniotomy to remove this. She hopes to still be able to take on this challenge in May and we are truly inspired by her determination.
