True Christmas Spirit at the Duke of York !

The Duke of York in Cowes is truly getting into the Christmas spirit with their festive fundraiser!

Landlady Sally Cass has gone all out to decorate the interior of the popular pub with hundreds of Christmas baubles, and there is a competition to guess how many there are! It’s just £1 to enter and fantastic prizes to be won.

Outside the pub there is also a huge tree, kindly donated by Kev Richmond of Mill Hill Road when he heard of the fundraiser and it was cut down and delivered free of charge by Mark Spencer. The tree is decorated in L plates in a poignant tribute to driving instructor and family friend, Graham Sprack, who passed away earlier this year from a brain tumour. Graham’s family continue to be dear friends of our charity.

The competition will run throughout December and the New Year, so be sure to pop down.

*UPDATE*

Thank you to everyone who took part in The Duke of York’s Christmas competition to guess the number of baubles… which was an incredible 1426!!

Congratulations to Guy Adkins in 1st place, Paddy Eden and Tony Joyce 2nd and Curtis Crews 3rd, and a huge thank you to Sally and her team for raising a wonderful £350!
