We are always really conscious that the help we give to so many of our Wight Brainy Bunch families is financially based and so not always visible. So after speaking to a few of our families, this is something that we looked to address during Covid, when fundraising activities were not always possible.
An investment opportunity arose, and we are excited to announce that we can now offer all the families we work with, respite/memory making breaks at our newly purchased caravan, situated at the stunning Nodes Point Parkdene Resort www.parkdeanresorts.co.uk/location/isle-of-wight/nodes-point
This 3-bedroom caravan is made up of one double and two twin rooms, a well-equipped kitchenette, toilet and shower room, separate WC, decked area with outdoor table and chairs and designated parking space. Bed linen and towels will be provided. The resort has a small shop on site, indoor swimming pool, bar/restaurant with live entertainment, arcade and play park. The beautiful beaches of St Helens Duver and Priory Bay are a short walk away. Families will receive a welcome pack and entertainment passes on arrival.
We know first-hand how important it is to be able to take time out as a family when things get a little overwhelming, and so hopefully this holiday home will provide a little escape for families dealing with both the physical and emotional effects of their diagnosis and treatment.
