Sandown Rocks at Warrior Festival !

Huge thanks to the Foo Fighterz, The Ohmz, Hashtag, Close to Home, SAS, Special Brew and Spike Oatley, who gave their time freely and delighted more than 500 spectators who attended the event.

Special thanks to Toby Sleight for dreaming up the idea and working so hard to make the dream a reality. .. to  Dan and all his staff at Sandown Airport; to everyone who helped make the day run smoothly on stage; to PC Security; to Wight Event First Aid; to our parking attendants, and to all the stallholders.

Unfortunately the inclement weather meant we couldn’t have the bouncy castles and last minute changes had to be made around the site, but thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it all happen.

Toby Sleight, who organised the one-day show, said:

“I was blown away by the feedback we received and how kind people were in helping to make the event a success. Warrior Fest was born of an idea to support a local charity and be able to give something back to such a selfless charity which has done so much to help so many people. The feedback we’ve had is people want this to become an annual event, so we are looking at the possibility of it growing while still providing a stage for local bands.”
