Long Lane Christmas Lights Raise £4300 for Local Charities

Two Island charities were presented with cheques on Friday 17th January  from Terry & Sue Ramplin’s Christmas Lights display at Long Lane in Newport.
The Wight Brainy Bunch and Johns Club were chosen as this years benefiting charities and each received cheques for £2150 from donations received throughout December.
“Terry and Sue have raised so much for charity with their Christmas Lights display over the last 20 years, so we were delighted to be chosen as one of their benefiting charities last year. Once again they have raised an amazing amount, and our share will go towards supporting more island families affected by brain tumours, so we are incredibly grateful to them both and everyone who has kindly donated.
The festive display is now in it’s 20th year and Terry and Sue would like to thank all the Island businesses and families who continue to support them.
